This was an incredibly fun experience. The equipment felt safe, the group of guides were really friendly and fun. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a little jolt of adrenaline in a beautiful setting.
Great experience! Naghe and Jeffery are obviously very experienced and knowledgable guides who took us on the advanced canyoning trip (they've been guiding for 15 yrs ish each and are clearly OGs!). We rappeled, jumped, clambered over rocks, and swam through the canyon and ended with a rappel down Trafalgar Falls! I was certainly nervous at parts (because I still have some fear of heights not because I didn't feel absolutely safe with them) but they helped me when I needed it, gave options for how to do parts when possible, and were very encouraging and fun. We also had two other guides, Junior and Akil, who came along on their day off because that's how awesome what we were doing was. I will definitely do another trip with them on my next trip to Dominica.
After doing the day canyoning we wanted to try something different and opted for the night trip. This is totally different then during the day and a lot of fun. It is dark, really dark but the moon lights up certain area's. Other then that they mount a bright light on your helmet so you can see every step of the way. The canyon looks different at night and as a person you feel very small between those massive walls on each side combined with the sounds of the jungle and waterfalls. This is definitely the next level!
